It’s time to dump Trump

October 5, 2015

Donald Trump could be considered refreshing, entertaining, and even humorous. However, Trump is not a refreshing breath of air, he is the toxic smog America would not be able to escape.

Trump contains the charisma of a reality T.V. star rather than that of the President of the United States.

Don’t get me wrong; Trump does have a few strong qualities he’s bringing to this election.
He has made his success with businesses like The Trump Tower. Also, he produced and hosted the reality T.V. show The Apprentice.

In short, he’s an honest and successful businessman. However, This country is not a business. Trump is not running to host America.

When announcing his presidency, Trump claimed he would be able to tackle all of America’s biggest issues, focusing on the economy.

Trump’s solution is to create jobs by deporting the illegal immigrants working in America.

His main focus as a president is taking away rights from illegal immigrants, rather than giving rights to those who deserve it. When he came out with an immigration policy, he centered his plan on increasing border security and immigration enforcement.

This plan, titled “Immigration Reform That Will Make America Great Again”, talks about the deportation of roughly 11 million people, equivalent to the population of Ohio.

Concluding, Trump has a major issue with foreigners, especially those who migrated illegally into America.

On Sunday Aug. 16, Trump released his first position paper
With this paper, he explains his plans to have Mexico to pay for and build a border between the two countries.

In addition to these ridiculous requests, Trump has also insulted the people and government of Mexico.

“The worst elements in Mexico are being pushed into the United States by the Mexican government,” Trump said.

A statement like this caught the eye of Mexico’s government officials.
According to The Guardian, on Wednesday, Aug. 19, Mexico’s government responded to Trump’s statements.

In response, Foreign minister Jose Antonio Meade declares Trump’s comments are “prejudiced, ignorant and racist.”

Despite the fact of his ignorance, there are people who consider him a good candidate for this election.

He might be considered a good candidate because his opinions do not change. He is very loud about what he believes is right, Even if his opinions and comments offend another nation.

With this in mind, we need to consider that being the loud and having the best ideas have no connection to each other. Consider the impact of Trump’s ignorant, offensive ideas. Is a future with Trump a future America needs?
