Maddie Coffin, Staff Writer
This is Maddie’s (She/Her/Hers) first year on the Hoofbeat staff and she is so excited to learn more about journalism and how a newspaper works. She is a senior this year and although it is her first year on the staff, she is pumped to get to work with new people and gain new experiences. Outside of the Hoofbeat, Maddie does baton twirling for Millard North and for her studio, Sue’s Stepper-ettes. Baton twirling takes up most of Maddie’s life while she is not working on homework or playing card games with her family. She has an unhealthy obsession with peanut butter filled pretzels and taking naps. Maddie dreams of moving to New York City and getting a corgi.
