Lucy Tu
Lucy is the Co-Editor-in-Chief and Front Page editor of the 2019-2020 Hoofbeat, and she is ready to complete her third and final year on the Hoofbeat staff. Working with an incredible team of writers, photographers, and editors is a big highlight of Lucy’s school day. Lucy has also worked with journalists from CBS, POLITICO, and The Washington Post in Detroit as a member of the Asian American Journalism Association. Outside of journalism, Lucy is a forensics competitor, a Co-President of MN’s TASSEL chapter, and an avid volunteer of the Millard student-run organization Special Musicians. She is an amateur baker, lover of mid-day naps, and a former (and very ashamed) fanfiction writer.
