Laurel Westerman is a first time journalism member, acting as the Hoofbeat’s social media editor and a staff writer. In addition, she participates in FCCLA, Spanish Honors Society, and semi-consistently attends to MN theatre’s props crew. To Laurel, volunteering, writing, reading, and playing video games her parents reluctantly let her purchase are important aspects of life. Most of her time is spent starting Netflix TV shows and forgetting about them, or playing games with Adrian, her lesser, somewhat nerdier, half.
